The Menus

Menu in Sego Sambel Cak Uut is mostly spicy. I can tell that this is the spiciest restaurant in Malang. You can’t request the level of spicy. So you can request to separate the rice, sambel, and main dish. So you can eat more carefully hoho.

The best menu are squid (Cumi Bumbu Hitam), fatty meat (Krengsengan Daging), and fried corn (Bakwan Jagung).

They have two kind of Sambel, Sambel Bawang and Sambel Tempong (authentic Sambel from Banyuwangi East Java). They will give you Sambel based on your main menu. Among others squid, fatty meat, chicken, meat lungs, and many others.

They also have delicious drink Es Blewah and Es Cincau. This drink will help you to reduce your burnt tongue because of the sambel hoho.

Why you should try this restaurant

They have authentic Sambel Tempe authentic from Cak Uut, made from tempe, green long beans, and fresh sambel. There is no menus in other place like in this spiciest restaurant in Malang.

Guarantee delicious, because you have to make queue before. I suggest you to come at around 10 AM. So you will not queue too long.

It will be so long to wait when you come at lunch time.

And you can come at evening around 4-5 PM, if you are lucky you will get the last place before they closed.

FYI, Indonesian people really love to eat with sambel, because when we eat with sambel as complement dish, we will add more rice to our meal. We eat more when we eat with sambel. So, that not suprisingly this restaurant so famous and many people willing to queue.

Sambel/sambal is our culture.

See you on the next one.
